Persian Reed is the phrase used by the Romans to describe sugarcane. "Honey made without bees from that Persian reed." So I borrowed that description to create our brand name for our vodka and gins. Our vodka and gin base is fermented from cane sugar and molasses. Triple distilled to remove all characteristics of the fermentables gives us a very clean vodka. We allow the vodka to rest for a bit in stainless steel then pass it through coconut activated carbon. The exposure to atmosphere and passing through the carbon makes our vodka very clean and smooth.
Our Persian Reed Vodka is excellent neat, or in soda or tonic, and of course great in an vodka based cocktail. You can find it ina select liquor stores throughout Oregon and in our tasting rooms in Bandon, Reedsport, and Florence. We serve it exclusively at the Hoaloha Tiki Room. 80 proof.
